Concert Dress
Laura and Lori-Beth suggested a more informal “Sing Off” style of dress, featuring a central color and black in dressy pants or street length skirts and dresses. Choices are blue, purple, and pink for the dominant color. Consensus was YES! A vote next rehearsal will select the color.

CD Mixing
Laura and Lori-Beth reported that all of the Britten had been mixed. The overall sound is similar to a live performance. Only one more mixing sessions remains.

Musical Notes
We picked up May the Road Rise to Meet You and several small ensemble pieces.
ABC—Lisa and Liz have added to the small ensemble.
Hallelujah—The group read through the piece. A suggestion was made to create three quartets for the verses to add variety—TBD at a later date.
                Mark unison note(b) at m. 40.
For rhythm, pulse the 8th note.
                Homework—Review p. 6.
Close Now Thine Eyes
Correction: Dot the quarter note in m. 14.
Breath markings: Break after ms. 9, 12, 29,33,37,39.
                                No breaks after ms. 2,6,11.
The Rose
Mark ms. 42 and 45; there are no dotted 8th notes.
Note for Alto 2 at m. 46: Change “snows” to “snow.”

It Was a Lover and His Lass—We held sectionals to review parts. A recording is posted on our blog.
Small ensembles—Chapel of Love, Let’s Hear It for the Boy, and God Only Knows? and ABC rehearsed. (Sorry for the confusion; I missed the announcements.)

Enjoy the snow days, teachers! It gives you time to practice.
